Integra Partners has joined the 2X Challenge which aims to collectively mobilize US$3 billion in commitments that provide women in developing country markets with improved access to leadership opportunities, quality employment, finance, enterprise support and products and services that enhance economic participation and access.
Our involvement is sponsored by our partner DEG* in recognition of our Fund’s strong commitment to women. We demonstrate this commitment both in our team, which consists of 50% female professionals in leadership roles and in our investments in portfolio companies, which has achieved 42% female employment. In our second fund, we aim to invest in companies that are aligned with the 2X Challenge to further drive women representation and empower women across all socioeconomic levels. “We’re honored to be recognized for the 2X Challenge – ensuring that we have a gender-diverse team is the first step to incorporating a gender lens in the way we operate and invest. We are excited to partner with DEG and the 2X Challenge to facilitate transformational change to the fintech and health-tech industry while being committed to supporting women leadership and employment at all levels that we engage with.” Christiaan Kaptein, Partner at Integra Partners
In line with the 2X Challenge, we will commence a series of interviews to shine the spotlight on women leaders who are making a difference in communities around Southeast Asia. Join us every Wednesday as we #WinWithWomen. In this series, we speak to women leaders in the fintech, insurtech and healthtech industries that are championing equality and diversity at their workplaces.
Our first spotlight this coming Wednesday, is on Khai Lin Sng, who is the Co-founder and Chief Investment Officer of Fundnel.
