Dear friends of Integra Partners,

We are delighted to share our 2023 Impact and ESG Report for Integra Partners Fund II with you. Over the past year, we have made significant strides towards driving innovation and progress across our core impact themes in Southeast Asia. It is our belief that we can do good while doing well through our investments in early-stage companies that drive outsized outcomes not only for investors but also everyday people in the communities they operate in.

In 2023, we invested in four new companies across agri-food, climate, and digital health, that leverage technology and digital finance to create more profitable, efficient, and sustainable businesses. Market uncertainty over the past year has underscored our view that to generate impact that lasts, we must first ensure that the companies we back have strong fundamentals – that means sustainable business models that can scale efficiently, creating a self-reinforcing virtuous cycle of commercial and impact growth. Without the right fundamentals in place, we risk investing in well intentioned efforts that may be authentic and tangible, but likely short lived.

As investing and its demands in relation to ESG and impact continue to evolve, we strive to develop and enhance the resources we can offer to our current and future investments. This past year, we have refined our Net Impact Toolkit and developed four policy templates together with Steward Redqueen. These policies serve as a starting point for startups to adopt best-in-class policy standards across client protection, human resource, anti-bribery and corruption, and sustainability. We believe that these policies will help founders prepare for the increasing emphasis placed on company preparedness around quantifying and managing risks, while driving and measuring positive outcomes. As such, these policies will soon be made accessible for free on our website.
