As forward-thinking investors, our team at Integra Partners is always monitoring and adapting to current trends in the market. With the release of ChatGPT at the end of 2022, this marked a step change in artificial intelligence capabilities, with implications that will create ripples across all industries.
In Integra Partners’ 2023 Generative AI report, we provide an overview of how artificial intelligence has progressed and deep dive into each layer that makes up the Generative AI stack today – from front end applications, foundational models, machine learning operations, compute clouds and vector databases to hardware infrastructure. In each layer, we highlight key areas of interest for us as investors and how we think it is likely to evolve.
From our research, we develop a few initial key theses that will serve as a framework as we continue to keep our eyes peeled for companies that leverage the technology to drive inclusion, access and affordability in financial services and healthcare. Some early examples we have come across in the fintech space include education and personalisation of wealth-related investment products for the average person. In the healthcare space, we have seen co-pilots that help healthcare providers administer care to patients quicker and more efficiently. These are just a few cases where Generative AI has begun to reshape these large and important industries in which we invest.
We are still in the early days of Generative AI, the space is rapidly changing – allowing for many opportunities to create value not only for investors, but impact for the end consumer in ways that we can only begin to imagine. It is our pleasure to share our initial view on the Generative AI space in this report. You can access the report here.
