CleanHub, a leader in plastic waste collection and management, and an Integra Partners Fund II portfolio company, has secured additional funding via the ProFIT program of the Investment Bank of Berlin. The goal of the ProFIT project “Scalable AI-based household waste analysis for the prevention of ocean plastic” is to detect the collected waste bags with anomalies during the household collection phase. By closing the feedback loop, real-time feedback can then be given to the collection team but also directly to the households with the goal of improving the pre-sorting and the overall quality of the collected waste.

This project is co-financed by the European Fund for Regional Development (EFRE).
