The round is being led by Point72 Ventures, the VC arm of the firm founded by New York hedge fund manager Steve Cohen. We are delighted to be investing alongside Point72, as well as with old and new friends Next Billion Ventures, Endeavour Catalyst, Kickstart, Beenext, and Wavemaker Partners.

Over the last several years, Patrick and Alex have build a strong fundamental business, with compelling expansion opportunities in the world of fintech and insurtech, as they continue to find ways to serve SME employees. As we’ve said elsewhere on this site, we believe that the Philippines is a market with strong growth drivers, and one to watch for startups with breakout potential.
